Sara Serpilli's background

Born and raised in Rome, where she studied cultural heritage at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Serpilli then attended two masters' courses, one in Roman art history and the other in judicial archaeology and crimes against cultural heritage at the Criminological Studies Centre of Viterbo.

While still at university, she worked on growing her network by reaching out to emerging and well-established artists who were looking to showcase their work.

Serpilli started collaborating with contemporary art galleries, art collectives, and independent and creative hubs.
